Background
Our story
Townsend Watson Associates was established by practitioners who had spent careers on the client and contractor side of the industry — and who recognised a gap in the market for a consultancy that combined genuine technical depth with the commercial awareness that construction firms actually need.
We work on projects of all scales, from targeted advisory appointments to full project management commissions spanning several years. What remains constant is our commitment to clear communication, proactive risk management, and the kind of senior-level engagement that makes a material difference to outcomes.

James has over 25 years of experience in project management and technical delivery across residential, commercial, and public sector projects. He leads the firm's project management practice and takes personal responsibility for the quality of every commission.
